The Vista Ridge Well Field will contain 1,312 Groundwater Leases covering 50,000 acres of land, which have been acquired by Met Water.  The pipeline that is being constructed to deliver the 50,993 ac-ft/annually (45 MGD) will be approximately 142 miles long that will run from Western Burleson County to Northwest San Antonio.  14 high volume production water wells will be drilled to produce the water under contract to SAWS.  Blue Water Systems, which has held the necessary permits from the Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District (“POSGCD”), has assigned such Permits to Abengoa/Vista Ridge for 50,993 ac-ft/annually.
